The Jade Buddha Temple is one of the most famous Buddhist temples in Shanghai. On this walk, you will learn more about the architecture, spiritual significance and special history of this sacred place and the Jade Buddha statues.

Afterwards, we will enjoy lunch together in a cosy atmosphere in a typical Shanghainese restaurant.

This walk through the temple and over lunch vividly recounts the traditions of the Chinese New Year. It explains the symbolic rituals, the cultural significance of the celebrations and how families celebrate the most important festival of the year for the Chinese.
